The Private Clinic is a day surgery which specialises in abortion, which is medically referred to as termination of pregnancy. In addition to abortions we provide dilatation and curettage (D&C) for incomplete miscarriage, insertion or removal of IUD's and obstetric & gynaecological ultrasound scans. All procedures are performed by a female doctor. Contraceptive advice, counselling, pregnancy testing and ultrasound scans are included in all visits for pregnancy terminations, however these services are available as seperate appointments if required. In 2003, the Private Clinic relocated to Surry Hills from Woollahra where we had been established for over 25 years. The Private Clinic was one of the first abortion clinics in Australia to provide safe and affordable abortion care and throughout this time we have earned the trust and respect of patients and GP's in Sydney and throughout NSW. Our new premises in Surry Hills were designed to provide our patients with an aesthetically pleasing, comfortable and private environment, while maintaining the highest standards of medical care.
